Ideal for a quiet and relaxing holiday

Situated on the slopes of Sierra de Aracena and near the ancient mines of Riotinto (6 Km), between the two rivers Odiel and Riotinto,  in a strategic enclave, half way between Huelva beaches and the mountains of Aracena, and 80 Km from the National Park  Doña Ana, sanctuary of wild animals and migratory birds from Africa and Northern countries. Aracena 35 kms, Cortegana, Almonaster la Real, Alajar, Aroche. Huelva at 62 kms, Sevilla 85 kms. Should the traveler be interested in prospecting the countryside through different paths may see  Dolmens (megalithic tombs), ancient water mills (Odiel river) mosque (Almonaster) caves (Aracena) hicking by the old abandoned railway mining tracks  riding a bicycle, or a 4x4. If you are an enthusiast Golf player you may play in the Corta Atalaya Golf course in Riotinto one of the first established golf courses in Spain.

The Cortijo is nice and cozy with an original touch on the decoration, a lot of Indian and African style that you won’t forget easily, however everybody feels at home and easy. Every bedroom has his private bathroom. The sunsets by the pool are lovely very relaxing, the birds get very active at this time and on the fruit gardens is full of them making incredible noises.
